This project begins with the dream of being able to share much more of our city with those who visit us for a few days, reconnect with those who have walked its streets all their lives and inspire people from all over the world to get to know our Guadalajara.
After many years of dreaming about it, in June 2018, we finally began to provide experiences, always with the faithful conviction of having fun and infecting others.
We have created everything with you in mind, who are looking to get to know the city in a fun and innovative way; no matter what part of the world you are from, your language, age, preferences or disabilities.
The important thing is that we want to share with you our culture, architecture, gastronomy, folklore and art, walk like a local and live with its people. Welcome to Guadalajara, Camina GDL.

Founder of Camina GDL. Passionate about my city and my country. Mexican by birth, by choice and by heart. For me, the most important thing is that you live the best experience!
I have been a Guadalajara guide for more than 3 years, I like how versatile this city can be. I love seeing the reaction that tourists have to new things like food, culture, places and people.
Enthusiastic about showing Guadalajara, that the visitor falls in love with its architecture, its streets, its traditions, its history. I am responsible for taking care of every detail so that each experience is unique.
Guadalajara is the most Mexican city in the country, tequila and mariachi were born in Jalisco. Visit Guadalajara with me and forget that you are on a tour, you will live this experience with a local friend as a guide.
Aprendimos bastante. Dispuesto a responder cualquier pregunta. Nos recomendó donde comer. Donde tomar
Guide never showed up. Hard to reach tour operator. Booked via Viator and tour operator confirmed date and time. Come time for the tour the guide was nowhere to be found, operator does not pick up phone or answer messages until 20-30 minutes have passed since tour start time (out of a 1-2 hour tour) Very stressful and unpleasant. They finally call and say that they tour guide is missing and they do not know what happened to them and try really hard to convince us not to give them a poor review by offering a free tour on the next day. However, we cannot do that due to scheduling - and they already wasted an afternoon of ours in GDL. We since found out this is basically the same tour that is offered free each morning at 10:30am. Viator could not reach them either and is now refunding our money.
Súper agradable! Todo excelente, fue una muy buena atención! Muy amable, ameno y completo. Súper recomendados. Gracias!!!
Top! Top ervaring. Sprak goed Engels en bracht mooie verhalen. Fantastische manier om de staf te ontdekken.
Great tour with Santiago Great tour to start your time in Guadalajara: We (couple) did the Free Walking Tour with Santiago and it was great. First of all, Santiago is such a nice guy, his English is very good and he knows a lot of interesting stories about locations / buildings / history and culture of Guadalajara. We really enjoyed the 2 hours tour! Thank you so much Santiago!
Tour guide extraordinaire Carlos have our family an amazing tour of Guadalajara. Carlos is funny, smart, intelligent, and informative. I enjoyed him very much.
Wonderful company Did the Guadalajara walking tour with Carlos. The ajijic tour and Tlaquepaque tour with Valerie and the Mexican pub tour with Santiago. I chose Camino gdl based on recommendations from a you tube channel Kim the abundant traveler. My only recommendation is pay for the transportation to/from the pub tour at night. All knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t go wrong.
AMAZING 3 days filled with the most amazing, very well educated, and highly informed tour guides. If I had one wish on my vacation to Jalisco it would have been exactly what I got during my 3 day tour with the wonderful, kind, and yes, very well educated tour guides that taught me and showed me most of what Jalisco has to offer in its Magic Cities. As a history nerd hearing the history and traditions and experiencing the cultures of Jalisco’s Magic Cities I was in Nirvana. Every day was an adventure and I soaked up everything they were willing to teach me. I am fluent in Spanish and English, but having my tours done in Spanish was the pinnacle of travel in Mexico. My package included pick-up at the airport to the hotel, hotel lodging in central historic Guadalajara, pick-up and travel to all touring cities and lunch every day. They also picked me up from the hotel and took me to the airport on my last day. I highly recommend these amazing people. If you have a true desire to learn and immerse yourself in Jalico’s rich and beautiful history and it’s Magic Cities, Camina GDL has it all figured out and for the most reasonable rates. As a side note: in one of the museums that we visited, as my tour guide was explaining the artist on display and the history of the actual museum another tour group was simply walking around quietly listening to my tour guide - like I said these guys are amazing!
Insightful and Fun Walking Tour! I went on a free walking tour with Camina GDL on the weekend. I was the only English speaker and was luckily paired with Valeria. I knew right away it was going to be a great tour and my instincts proved me right. There wasn't much walking on this tour but there was so much to learn in the surrounding area. Because it was just us two, we were able to have more of a conversation and Valeria was able to answer all my questions. The time flew by and was disappointed it had to end. Highly recommend this tour and the agency, especially when it comes to tequila tours. Definitely next on my list when I return to Guadalajara.
